It was a beautiful bouquet of tulips to celebrate arriving in Amsterdam. Over the course of our stay, they did what tulips do as they age, that is, they became even more interesting in terms of color and texture. Sitting in front of a window, they received the most lovely light and so we photographed them each day. Probably in good part because of the quality of light, these images were later "painted" with light effects rather than with artistic filters.
