It was a busy afternoon at the beautiful Keukenhof Gardens, which we have described in an earlier collection as "Botanical Heaven" because of the acres of magnificent flowers.
In what was an unexpected surprise, this beautiful white peacock appeared in the garden outside a very busy cafe. Seemingly oblivious to the stir that his presence was creating, he wandered around with his tail down for some time as crowds of delighted visitors began to gather around him. But it was not until a peahen arrived that he raised his tail and put on a show. Alas, while he effectively entranced his human fans, the true object of his affection paid him little heed.
