Fortuny's Heritage
Mariano Fortuny, though born in 1871, was a true "Renaissance man", developing skills as an artist, etcher, sculptor, photographer, architect and inventor. Combining his interests in engineering, art, color and design, he became known for his richly elegant fabrics. The techniques he developed still inform the production of the gorgeous fabrics that bear his name.
